Porcelain & Black Velvet

Home Sweet Homeless.

Found this awesome website with homeless bedding! The sheets are made to look like a cement block sidewalk and the bedding is made to look like cardboard. Wow! I really honestly want this set... What a great daily reminder to pray for and help out those that aren't as fortunate as you to claim that its only cotton bedding they're sleeping on. If you buy this bedding, you could be doing that from the start, because a large portion of Le-Clochard duvet set goes to a foundation called SZN that helps homeless kids in the Netherlands.

New Mission

So I've decided to start a mission. Every day till the end of the year I am going to make a craft, take a photo, write something, or just basically post something creative and (hopefully) interesting.

Thus said, today's post is photography. I took these photos today. I was inspired by photos I've seen like the one above (so cute, i know!). I'd tell you how to find more of them, because there's quite a nice set of the photos, BUT I forgot what they're called. I used my little lucky cat from Chinatown since I don't have any miniature deer and other woodland creatures. Plus, its more 'Tora' with the cat.

New Project

"Of all the diseases on earth, sin is the most contagious, the most repulsive, and the most fatal."

I think thats going to go on one of my t-shirts I'm designing.

So far I've taken 3 photos from my collection and sketched them into stencils.

Now I just need to blow them up to a larger size and turn them into cardboard cut-outs. After that I'll use spray paint to stencil the outline of the images onto the shirts. THEN I'll just add in the touches of color.

Hmm... still need to figure out how to get the writing onto the shirts.. Maybe fabric paint and pre-made stencils.. Maybe just by hand. I'll cross that bridge when I come to it I suppose.

OH! if I figure out how to use the scanner, I'll let you take a peek at the designs I've come up with.

SHIT SHIT SHIT!!!!

SCORPION!!!!! ITS TINY!!! (AND IF YOU'RE FROM AZ, YOU KNOW THOSE ARE THE WORST KIND TO FIND!!!!)

AAAAAHHHHHHGGGG!!!!!!!! TWINKIE!!!!! SAVE ME!!!!!

The Artist

These, are my arms. haha i love the blood.
Trav and I actually made a layer cake (i made it) and he painted most if it (with food coloring) to look like this painting because i was so taken with the blue and white.

This one above is his latest work of art. Its amazing. It just draws you in..

A new take on Medusa. LOVE IT. this is actually my iPod Touch wallpaper.

And here's some earlier work of his. I love the color scheme and the fact that its very original.

Hanging out with Travis makes me feel better about all my problems. I'm not exactly sure why. Maybe because I'm part of his problems and I'm not in the middle of something for once, haha..

But tonight is relaxing.. smokes a cig and had a drink. Then, I modeled for his latest painting. Very cool.. Very 60's "Edie Sedgwick" I thought.

Here's Travis:
